History
The SOMOD company was founded 1998 to initially assist German furniture manufacturers enter the UK market by marketing and presenting their products to the British furniture retail industry.
Increasingly we were being contacted by members of the UK general public asking where they could obtain our modern contemporary furniture products. As we did not (and still don't) have a high street store we created a retail website to enable the public to by a selection of our products directly from us.
